On 17th April 2024, Department of Kaumarbhritya organised a free camp for the general public of Rajkot at Amrita Ghayal community hall, Rajkot from 9 :00 am to 2:00 pm.

The camp was led by Dr. Bhargav Mehta (Associated Professor, department of kaumarbhritya), Dr. Amisha Bavarva (Assistant professor, department of Kaumarbhritya). Under the guidance of Dr. Bhargav Mehta 3 Intern students performed developmental assessment and 1 pharmacist distributed prescribed medicine.

Dr. Bhargav Mehta and Dr. Amisha Bavarva consulted patients and also gave appropriate information regarding developmental delay and mental retardation.Total 46 mentally retardation children benefited from this camp.
