On December 18, 2024, Wednesday, our team at RK University Ayurvedic Hospital conducted a free health check-up and treatment camp at Jay Somnath Vidhyalaya, near DudhSagar Road, Rajkot.

• A team of Ayurvedic physicians, including Dr. Ketan Bhimani, Dr. Kushal Chaudhary, Dr. Bhargav Mehta, and Dr. Vinita Sharma, along with pharmacist Disha Aparnarthi and final year students, provided their services.
• A total of 103 patients were treated for various ailments, including musculoskeletal diseases, dermatological diseases, ENT and eye diseases, anorectal diseases, and gynecological diseases.
• All patients received Ayurvedic medicines for up to seven days.

• Approximately 25 patients underwent Prakruti Parikshan (constitution assessment) to understand their unique bodily constitution.
• Personalized diet and lifestyle recommendations were provided based on the Prakruti assessment.

• All patients were advised for further follow-up at RK University Ayurvedic Hospital, Rajkot, for comprehensive treatment and ongoing care.

• Final year students gained valuable clinical experience by observing and assisting in the treatment of various diseases

The camp was organized under the guidance of our director and of Medical Superintendent Dr. Manoj Pande.

This free health camp at Jay Somnath Vidhyalaya was a successful initiative. It provided valuable healthcare services to the community while simultaneously offering valuable clinical experience to the students.
