On May 06, 2025 , the Department of Swasthavritta evum Yoga at RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital ,Rajkot organized an educational visit to the Primary Health Centre,Tramba, Rajkot. This visit was led by Dr. Divya R, Associate Professor and Dr. Nimmi A N , Assistant Professor of Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga with the participation of 48 Second Professional B.A.M.S. students.

Our Students had the valuable opportunity to observe the following:-

• Medical care including referral, Control of Communicable diseases through Immunization and National health programs;
• Maternal and Child health care,Family Planning,School Health services,role of ASHA,MPHW in the Community Medicine;
• Ayushman Bharat Mission and recent implementation in PHC through Ayushman Arogya Mandir Program;
• Mainstreaming of AYUSH system of medicine in Public Health;
• Deep insight into the Importance of Ayurvedic medicines in treatment of Non Communicable Diseases in PHC.

A special thanks to Dr.Saroja Madam and PHC staffs for their kind cooperation and for providing essential guidance to our students.
