Seed Ball Activity

On the occasion of World Environment Day (5th June 2025), the Department of Dravyaguna has organized a Seed Ball Activity. Activity is a fantastic way to celebrate by promoting reforestation, biodiversity and community engagement.

Seed balls are small, clay-based balls containing seeds that can be thrown into areas needing reforestation or green spaces. They are designed to protect seeds from harsh conditions and provide nutrients for germination. Seed balls like Ramphal, Eranda, Suryamukhi, Aragwadha and many more seeds were prepared.

Benefits of this activity are Promote sustainability, community engagement, ease and accessibility with minimal efforts. Under the guidance of Dr. Shweta Shetty (Associate Professor) and Dr.Swati Gawadiya (Assistant professor), along with students of 2nd professional have enthusiastically participated in the activity.
