On the auspicious occasion of Sushrut Jayanti, the Department of Rachana Sharira proudly organized an innovative and educational event, "Sharira 2025 – Anatomy Rangoli Competition", on 15th July 2025.

A total of 9 groups participated in the competition, each showcasing their creativity and anatomical knowledge through beautifully designed rangolis representing different parts of the human body. The themes included Heart, Brain, Eyeball, Embryology, Muscular System, and more, reflecting a deep understanding of human anatomy merged with traditional art. Students from First Year to Final Year were invited to visit the exhibition group-wise. The event provided a unique platform for students to visualize and appreciate anatomical structures in a vibrant and artistic form.

The competition was judged by Dr. Bhavin Sir and Dr. Trupti Mam, who highly appreciated the creativity, effort, and educational value embedded in each rangoli. They encouraged students to continue participating in such integrative and innovative academic activities.we also express our sincere gratitude to Director Dr Manoj Sir, for his unwavering guidance and support throughout the planning and execution of the event. The event successfully blended art and science, highlighting the importance of creative learning in medical education. It was a memorable celebration of anatomical art and the legacy of the ancient surgeon, Maharshi Sushruta.
