Covid19 Vaccination Camp

Covid19, declared as pandemic by WHO in the previous year, has affected the lives of all of us; and now the time has come to end this pandemic. The start of ending this pandemic is by vaccination for Covid19.
In India, Covid19 Vaccination Drive is ongoing by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India. Firstly it is going on for frontline workers like people in the healthcare sector etc. In this Covid19 Vaccination Drive, our region is not an exception.
Ayurved Hospital of RK University, in association with PHC-Tramba; have jointly organised COVID-19 Vaccination Camp on 25th and 27th January, 2021 as a part of Government of India Mega Vaccination Drive for healthcare workers against this pandemic.
In this vaccination drive, two vaccines have been approved : Covishield & Covaxin. In this camp, Govt has supplied Covishield vaccine; which is developed by University of Oxford & AstraZeneca. In India, Serum Institute of India has manufactured it.
Dr Priyanshu Rathod and Dr C. M. Vaghani had lit the lamp and inaugurated this camp. Dr. Shrikant Tambe, Dr. Manoj Pande & Dr Bhargav Mehta had coordinated this camp very well. Mr Amit Dave has communicated with PHC from ACH.
140+ Covid19 warriors have actively participated and benefited from this camp. These include teachers & students from Ayurved College, Physiotherapy college & Pharmacy College of RK University.
Shri S. N. Ramani sir, Registrar, RK University & Dr Miten Bhanderi, in-charge Chief District Health Officer visited the camp-site and instructed well.
Dr Saroj Jetpariya had played a key role on behalf of PHC for the grand success of this camp. The second dose of Covishield Vaccine is very much necessary for complete protection and it will be given after one month.
No ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) was found during and after vaccination camp.
