To explore the flora and fauna of Junagadh region, Dravyaguna Department, R K University Ayurvedic College organized an Educational trip to Jatashankar forest, Junagadh on 18/02/2021 under the guidance of Dr. Shweta Shetty and Dr. Nikita Pamnani, Dept of Dravyaguna and with the help of local guide Mr. Rajubhai. Students got chance to see the various medicinal plants like Vishtinduka, Patha, Parpataka, tubers of Varahi, Fruiting of Kutaj and Kapikacchu, Musali roots, exudates of Nadihingu, Flowers of Palasha and many more which enriched their knowledge of plant identification.

Students also got the chance to visit the Raivataka vanaushadhi vatika, Govt. Ayurveda College, Junagadh. Students saw some rare plant species like Agaru, Rudraksha, Patala, Mokshaka, Rakta candan in this garden. Dr. Manoj Pande & Dr. Hemant Bamane helped to make this drug tour successful and more fruitful.
