On the occasion of the celebration of International Women's Day, the Department of Swasthavritta & Yoga and Department of Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga conducted a Health Awareness Workshop at Government Secondary School and High School, Gadhaka on Saturday 26/02/2022.

Females of age group 14 to 18 from Secondary and High School were given a Health Awareness Lecture about Menstrual Hygiene and Rajaswala Paricharya by Dr Ketki Wagh. Also they were given a lecture about Hormonal Changes occurring in a female body during various decades of age by Dr Trupti Danidhariya.

Students from third professional BAMS also participated in the activity. Students got the opportunity to examine patients of various diseases especially related to gynecological problems. This participation provided an opportunity for experiencing outreach activity and facilitated clinical exposure for the student volunteers. Total number of patients was Twenty Two. The event was well coordinated by Dr Ketki Wagh & Dr Trupti Danidhariya. We are thankful to the School Coordinator Mr Dineshbhai Sausani, Principal of the school.

Shubham Gautam, Minal Goswami, Jaimini Hadwani, Surbhi Halpara, Manav Mehta & Meet Vaja - these students actively participated as student volunteers in the event.
