Physio-Anatomical Body Painting Competition 2022

As per the new NCISM syllabus, anatomy and physiology should be taught using alternative strategies to effectively facilitate learning of the discipline by medical students in an integrated, applied relevant and contextual framework. Considering this, there is the need for time to shift from conventional to novel, effective and participative teaching-learning methods. Body painting is an innovative concept in the field of learning medical anatomy and physiology, Department of Rachana Sharir and Kriya Sharir at RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital had organized a “Physio-Anatomical Body Painting Competition 2022” on 19th November 2022. Total 22 participants from First to Final Professional have participated and winners were appreciated with prizes and certificates.
Dr Ravi Parmar, Dr Bhavin Dubal and Dr Suresh Prajapati have given their valuable judgment after assessing the art, physio-anatomical knowledge and the presenting skills of participants.
Dr Ketan Bhimani, Director and Dr Manoj Pande, Deputy Director of the college have appreciated students and organizers for the success of the novel event.
