To explore and to understand the nature of medicinal plants, their existence and survival, the Department of Dravyaguna had organized a visit for 2nd year students to “The Serenity Library and Botanical Garden” at Ahmedabad on 6th January 2023. Under the guidance of Dr Shweta Shetty and Dr Nikita Pamnani students got knowledge about the wide variety of flora and fauna of botanical garden, herbarium preparation techniques and visited organic farm.

On the next day, 7th January, 2023 all the students visited “Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd.” near Ahmedabad. This visit was organized by the Department of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana for 2nd year students. Under the guidance of Dr Milind Chatrabhuji students learnt the practical aspects of Ayurveda pharmaceuticals on the industrial scale. This was the third visit by these students to GMP certified Ayurvedic Pharmacies after two previous visits of Rasashram Ayurved Pharmacy and Bhuvaneswari Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Gondal, which they visited two weeks ago on 23rd December, 2022.
