The Department of Panchakarma at RK University Ayurvedic College & Hospital organized a guest lecture on the topic "Practical Demonstration of Abhyanga Karma" on 28th February, 2023. The event was aimed at providing our Final Year students of BAMS and Intern Doctors with a practical understanding of Abhyanga Karma, one of the essential therapies in Ayurveda.

The guest lecture was conducted under the guidance and active involvement of Vd Ketan Bhimani, Principal of the college & Professor and Head of the Department of Panchakarma. Dr. Gaurang Vyas, Dean of the Department of Yoga at Darshan University, was the guest speaker for the event.

Dr. Vyas began by explaining the principles of Abhyanga Karma, including the different types of oils used and the techniques for applying them. He provided a practical demonstration of the therapy, tailored to specific ailments and body types, which was highly informative and engaging.

The event was a huge success, providing our students with practical knowledge that they can apply in their future practice. The lecture was interactive, with students asking questions and seeking clarifications, which made it an enriching experience.

The guest lecture also helped to promote the college's reputation as a center of excellence in Ayurveda. It provided our students with an opportunity to interact with experts in the field, broadening their horizons and fostering a culture of learning.
