On the Occasion of World Breastfeeding week, an Awareness Program was conducted on date 02/08/2023 at Sardhar Arogya Kendra (PHC).

The program was conducted in several sessions along with a brief introduction of the program. Sessions were delivered by students and coordinated by the faculties.

• Brief introduction about importance of breastfeeding
• Awareness regarding breast feeding for pregnant women & lactating mothers
• Practical demonstration of nutritional recipes
• Pregnant women & lactating mothers got benefited from the program

Faculties involved were Dr Deepty Nair,Principal, Professor & HOD; Dr Divya R, Associate Professor and Dr Purva Verma, Assistant Professor.

Student participation from Intern Dr Adityaba and students from 3rd year BAMS made this event a success.
