The Sensitization Program on the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) was conducted on February 27th, 2024, at the Seminar Hall, School of Management (SOM). Organized by the Research Committee at ACH, the program aimed to introduce students to the key aspects of SSIP and its role in fostering innovation within the campus community.

The program commenced promptly at 9:00 AM with an Welcome speech by Dr.Deepty Nair, Director and Research committee co-ordinator, ACH. Renowned personality Dr. Vishal Doshi, provided an overview of the objectives and structure of SSIP as a Guest speaker. Dr. Doshi highlighted the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among students and emphasized SSIP's role in providing support and guidance to budding innovators. Dr. Rohithkrishnan G.B., SSIP coordinator under Research Committee delivered Vote of Thanks. Dr.Manoj Pandey ,Dy. Director, Dr.Jigar Vekariya had also graced the occasion with their presence.

Encouragement: Dr. Doshi underscored SSIP's commitment to nurturing a culture of innovation by encouraging students to explore their entrepreneurial spirit and generate inventive ideas.

Support: SSIP offers comprehensive support to innovators, including guidance on industrial design rights, patent registration, and mentorship throughout the innovation process.

Financial Assistance: Recognizing the financial constraints faced by students, SSIP provides financial aid for the development of prototypes, proof of concepts (POCs), and other innovative projects.

Mentorship: Mentorship is a cornerstone of SSIP, providing students with invaluable guidance and support as they navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship and innovation.

The program saw active participation from students, who engaged in lively discussions and expressed enthusiasm towards exploring the opportunities offered by SSIP. Several students shared their innovative ideas and sought guidance on how to further develop them with the support of SSIP.

The Sensitization Program on SSIP proved to be an insightful and engaging session, providing students with valuable insights into the world of entrepreneurship and innovation. By highlighting the support and opportunities available through SSIP, the program succeeded in inspiring students to pursue their creative endeavors and contribute towards meaningful innovation within the campus community.

Moving forward, the Research Committee plans to organize workshops and mentoring sessions to further support students in realizing their innovative ideas. Additionally, efforts will be made to raise awareness about SSIP and encourage greater participation from students across all departments.

Overall, the program was a resounding success, and the Research Committee looks forward to continuing its efforts to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at ACH, RKU.
