As a part of 2nd Professional BAMS curriculum, Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga had organised an Educational Visit to Rajkot Dairy on 25/04/2024(Thursday).The visit was co-ordinated by Dr Deepty Nair, Prof & Head, Department of Swasthavritta & Yoga. Dr Divya R, Associate Professor, Department of Swasthavritta & Yoga and Dr Amisha Bavarva, Assistant Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya accompanied the students for the visit.

The team started from the campus at 9.20 am and reached the Rajkot Dairy by 10.00 am. Mr. Nikunj, In-charge Marketing Section, Rajkot Dairy explained in detail regarding the working of the dairy plant and students were able to observe the various processes including Collection of milk, Pasteurisation, Packing and Quality Testing. The team returned to campus at 1.00 pm.
