On July 1st, 2024, RK University, Ayurvedic College and Hospital Rajkot, celebrated Doctors' Day at SOS seminar hall with a series of engaging and meaningful events that highlighted the invaluable contributions of medical professionals.

The day commenced with an inaugural ceremony, graced by the presence of Chief guest Dr. Gopalakrishnan Pillai, who served as medical officer in his early Govt. carrier which ends up with glory being the First Deputy Director Ayurveda ESI who delivered an inspiring keynote address on the importance of the medical profession and the sacrifices made by doctors. The Director, Dr. Deepty Nair, and Deputy Direct, Dr. Manoj Pande welcomed the attendees with a heartfelt speech emphasizing the day's significance. This program was conducted by our Cultural Coordinator, Dr. Vinita Sharma, Assistant professor of Kaya Chikitsa department, whose tireless efforts and exceptional leadership played a pivotal role in the success of our Doctors' Day celebration.

Students of all batches attained the programme. The celebrations concluded with a vibrant cultural program, where students showcased their talents through deferent dance performances, a musical medley dedicated to the medical profession, and a plant identification quiz with ramp walk.

A heartfelt appreciation goes out to the students of RKU-ACH whose enthusiasm, dedication, organization and participation in these performances required a great deal of effort, time, and coordination.

RK University Ayurvedic college and hospital looks forward to continuing this tradition and celebrating the contributions of doctors for years to come.
