Acharya Charaka Jayanti Celebration - 2024

In memory of Acharya Charaka, Charaka Jayanti is celebrated on the 5th day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Shravana masa. Department of Ayurveda Samhita Siddhanta & Department of Kayachikitsa of Ayurvedic College and Hospital, RK University celebrated it on 9/8/24 with quiz Competition, Video making competition & other activities on Charaka samhita

The event began with Dip Pragyata & Dhanawantari Stavana followed by Saraswati vandana & Samhita pathana in presence of Chief guest Dr. Dhaval Pipalia, Director, Students affairs, RK University & with inspiring speech by Dy. Director Dr. Manoj Pande.

1. CHARAKA TATVABODHA 2.0 - A Quiz Competition on Charaka Samhita was held at SOE seminar hall. This event was organized to foster knowledge and intellectual engagement among participants about Charaka samhita. Thirteen teams enthusiastically participated & each team consisted of 3 members. Competition was conducted in various rounds like 1. Identification Round 2.Fastest finger first 3.MCQ 4. Dum Charades 5. Rapid fire and 6. Shloka completion round. Dr. Sujata Kotwal & Dr. Devakrishnan were present as a Judges.
2. Two best presentations of SSIP were arranged to motivate the students
3. Two best videos of ‘Video Making competition’ were played to inspire students.
4. This Platform was also utilised to felicitate our Alumni Palak babaria, who is currently doing her Post graduation at National Institute, ITRA, Jamnagar

Winner of the Quiz competition were Anjali Rathod, Mansi Padaliya, & Priyanka Parmar from Agnivesha group & they will be honoured with Certificates & Prizes.

Around 250 students attended this event as a audience. Few questions which were not correctly answered by participants were passed to audience and audience also very actively attended the whole event.

This Event was organised by Dr. Manoj Pande, Dr. Shreekant Mundada, Dr. Ruksar Piparvadiya, Dr. Vinita Sharma, Dr. Namrata Rathod, Dr. Avinash Kanasagara. & Dr.Vedanti Pandya.
