An educational visit was organized by the department of Agadtantra & VV, Ayurvedic college and Hospital, RK University, for second-year BAMS students to the department of Environmental Audit, RK University (authorised by the pollution control board) on 27.11.2024. The primary objective of this visit was to expose students to practical aspects of pollution control measures and their environmental significance.

During the visit, 56 students gained valuable insights into-

• Different techniques for controlling air, water, and noise pollution.
• The implementation of pollution control equipment and systems.
• The role of regulatory agencies in enforcing environmental standards.
• The importance of proper waste disposal to prevent pollution

This visit was led by Dr Pankaj Bhange and Dr Shivangi Malavia under guidance of our Director Dr Manoj Pande.

We would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Kshitij Dhameliya (Head of environmental audit) and other staff Mr Durgesh Parmar, Mr. Pratik Kacha and Mr. Vijaysinh Jadeja from the Environmental Audit Department, for their valuable guidance and support during the visit. This visit proved to be a valuable learning experience for the students. It not only enriched their knowledge of environmental science but also instilled a sense of environmental responsibility
