On 07.12.2024, the Department of Agad Tantra, RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital, organized an educational visit to Aarambh De-addiction Centre. The primary objective of the visit was to expose students to the realities of addiction, understand the treatment modalities, and gain insights into the challenges faced by individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Observations and Learnings

• The Scourge of Addiction: The visit provided a firsthand understanding of the pervasive nature of addiction, affecting individuals from all walks of life.
• The Power of Personal Experience: Mr. Raghuveersingh and Mr. Vinashbhai shared their personal experiences with addiction, highlighting the physical, psychological, and social consequences.
• The Importance of Holistic Treatment: The deaddiction center emphasizes a holistic approach, combining medical interventions, counseling, and spiritual guidance.
• Daily Routine and Therapeutic Regimen: Students observed the daily routine of the center, including yoga, meditation, and group therapy sessions.
• Pharmacological Interventions: The use of Ayurvedic medicines and other therapeutic modalities in the treatment of addiction was discussed.
