AYURVED HEALTH EXPO 2025

The Department of Panchakarma successfully organized the “Ayurveda Health Expo 2025” on 4th and 5th January 2025 at Dhanvantari Mandir, Rajkot. The expo aimed to educate the public about the principles of Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapy while providing free health check-ups and showcasing student projects.

Key Activities:
  • Panchakarma Model Presentations: All IV BAMS students presented their Panchakarma model presentations to the general public, explaining the procedures and benefits of various Panchakarma therapies. They also advised visitors to avail of authentic Panchakarma treatments at the RK University Ayurvedic Hospital in Tramba.
  • Healthy Food and Cosmetic Demonstrations: Students showcased their culinary skills by preparing 12 unique and healthy food recipes and 10 innovative cosmetic products using Ayurvedic principles. These creations were displayed and presented to the public and fellow students.
  • Free Health Check-up Camp: A free health check-up camp was organized, where nearly 90 patients received consultations and basic treatment from qualified Ayurvedic physicians.
  • Free Suvarnaprashan Distribution: Free Suvarnaprashan (gold-coated Ayurvedic tonic) was distributed to children to boost their immunity.
  • Chyavanprash Sales: Chyavanprash prepared by the Rasashastra department was made available for purchase by the public
  • Ayurveda Awareness: Informative banners displaying Ayurvedic awareness slogans were displayed throughout the expo venue.

The expo attracted a large crowd, with more than 250 people visiting the event over the two days. The public showed keen interest in the student presentations, healthy food demonstrations, and free health check-ups.

The entire expo was meticulously planned and executed by the faculty of the Panchakarma department, including Dr. Ketan Bhimani (Professor and HOD), Dr. Hetal Ramani (Associate Professor), and Dr. Vishakha Kheradia (Assistant Professor). The event was successfully organized with the full support and guidance of our Director & Medical Superintendent Dr. Manoj Pande,
