RK University Ayurvedic College & Hospital conducted Prakruti Parikshan Camps at various locations from November 26 to December 25, 2024, as part of the Desh ka Prakruti Parikshan Campaign in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). The main objective of this campaign was to increase public health awareness, help people understand their dosha-prakriti (physical nature), and motivate them to adopt a healthy lifestyle. This initiative was in line with the vision of 'Healthy India' of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, which aimed to make the health benefits of Ayurveda reach as many people as possible in urban and rural areas.

RK University Ayurvedic College & Hospital played a major role in the campaign which involved multiple coordinators and targeted different groups, including students, faculties, and the public. A total of 23,727 people were assessed with a strike rate of 47.45% and achieved 8th rank among Ayurveda colleges of the Gujarat State. The Prakruti Parikshan was done using a special mobile application developed by NCISM for Prakruti Parikshan by a total of 500 enrolled volunteers of RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Rajkot, including teachers and students. Assessed people got benefited with a digital certificate of their dosha-prakriti and advised personalised diet and lifestyle recommendations to be healthy using basic principles of ayurveda.

Dr Bhavin Shashikant Dubal, Associate Professor, Department of Kriya Sharira was appointed as a Nodal officer by the Institute and extended thanks to the Director and Hospital Superintendent of the Institute Dr Manoj Pande sir for continuous support and guidance and appreciated all teachers, students and non-teaching staff for their help and coordination who have taken efforts to reach such a huge number of people for health benefits of Ayurveda using Prakruti Parikshan.
