On 26th June 2026, the Department of Kayachikitsa at RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Rajkot, organized a guest lecture at the Gulmohar (SOS) Seminar Hall. The session was delivered by Dr. Manohar Chari, Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology at Zydus Hospitals, Ahmedabad, on the topic “Advanced Cancer Care in the Modern Era.”

Dr. Chari provided an in-depth overview of recent advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment, including the role of targeted therapies, the importance of early detection, and the value of multidisciplinary care in improving patient outcomes. His lecture was highly informative and offered students and faculty a clear understanding of how modern oncology integrates innovation with patient-centered approaches.
