The Department of Shalakyatantra, RK University Ayurvedic Hospital, organized a free eye and ear check-up camp on 30/03/2026 and 31/03/2026.

The camp was conducted by Ayurvedic physicians, Dr. Sangita Kamaliya, Associate Professor, Department of Shalakyatantra and Dr. Shafna M V, Assistant Professor, Depatment of Shalakyatantra along with interns Shweta, Nency, Raj, Trupal who provided their dedicated services.

A total of 62 drivers benefited from this medical camp. The patients were diagnosed with conditions such as presbyopia, myopia, cataract, impacted ear wax, otitis externa, otitis media, and hearing loss. More than half of the patients were found to have normal vision and hearing ability. Spectacles were prescribed to those who needed them.

All patients were provided with Ayurvedic medicines for up to seven days and were advised to attend further follow-up at RK University Ayurvedic Hospital, Rajkot.

The camp was organized under the guidance of Dr. Manoj Pande (Director, ACH) and coordinated by Ketki Ramani, Head of HR, who consistently took initiatives for the betterment of the University staff.
