The Department of Swasthavritta evum Yoga at RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Rajkot, successfully organized a National Level Digital Poster Making Competition in celebration of National Nutrition Week and National Ayurveda Day 2025. The theme of the competition, “Nutraceutical Recipes in Adolescents,” attracted enthusiastic participation from across the country, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD scholars.

A total of 16 registrations were received, comprising 4 PhD scholars from the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Jamnagar, 8 postgraduate scholars from various regions including Karnataka and Kerala, and 4 undergraduate students. Each poster submitted demonstrated exceptional depth and creativity in presenting the subject matter, making the task of selecting winners a challenging one for the jury panel.

After thorough evaluation by the jury, the winners were officially recognized. The first prize was awarded to Dr. Sholly Elizabeth Kuruvilla, a third-year postgraduate scholar from the Department of Swasthavritta evum Yoga at Shri BM Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi, Karnataka. The second prize was jointly awarded to Dr. Avaniben Sureshbhai Fichadiya, a first-year PhD scholar from ITRA Jamnagar, Gujarat, and Kuvadiya Kishan M, a second-year (UG) BAMS student from RK University Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Rajkot.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their active involvement and commendable efforts and special appreciation to the faculty members who guided and motivated students to take part in the competition, contributing significantly to its success.
