On December 22, 2025, the Department of Swasthavritta evum Yoga at RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital organized an educational visit to the U-Fresh Milk Dairy :Unity Milk & Food Products Private Limited, Girnar society in Rajkot.

This visit was led by Dr. Nimmi A N , Assistant Professor of Swasthavritta and Yoga, Dr.Jigar Sir Assistant Professor from RSBK and Dr.Ragesh, Professor from Roganidana Department RKU ACH with the participation of 91 students of Second Professional B.A.M.S.

Our Students had the valuable opportunity to observe the following:-

1. Processing of Milk ,curd,buttermilk,ghee,sweets
2. Analysis methods
3. Milk procurement,storage tank
4. Homogenisation, Microbiology lab,Quality control, Quality Assurance
5. Exposure to Pasteurisation and its equipments Packaging, Cold storage ,Blast Room , Incubation room
6. Cold room and Nitrogen packing of Milk products.
