CHARAKA TATVABODHA 3.0- A National-Level Documentary Competition

In Reverence of Acharya Charaka, guardian of Ayurvedic wisdom, his birth anniversary Charaka Jayanti was celebrated on July 29, 2025.
To honour his legacy, the Departments of Ayurveda Samhita Siddhanta &Sanskrit & Dept. of Kayachikitsa, RK University’s Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Rajkot hosted CHARAKA TATVABODHA 3.0-A National-Level Documentary Competition uniting tradition and innovation.
Competition Overview
The contest welcomed submissions until August 10, 2025, offering a platform for students across India to present visually compelling narratives rooted in Ayurvedic pillars:
- Dinacharya (Daily Lifestyle)
- Sadvrutta (Ethical & Mental Wellness)
- Ritucharya (Seasonal Practices)
- Janapadodhwamsa (Public & Environmental Health)
- Ayurveda Unfiltered—examining Ayurvedic narratives amid social media’s influence.
Event Highlights
- Open nationwide, showcasing the vibrancy of student scholarship
- We were humbled and honoured to receive entries from across India, demonstrating the event’s nationwide relevance and enthusiasm for Ayurveda as a living tradition.
- Perspective-rich documentaries blending classical Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary storytelling.
- Evaluated by distinguished judges: Dr. Rohitkrishnan, Associate professor Dept.of Rasa shastra Bhaishajyakalpana and Dr. Niketa Soni, Assistant Professor Dept.of Kriyasharira.
