On the 28th of January 2026, RK University Ayurvedic Hospital successfully conducted a comprehensive Free Ayurvedic Health Check-up and Treatment Camp at Corporation School No. 55 in the Anandnagar area of Rajkot. This initiative was organized in collaboration with the Shri Unique Viklang Charitable Trust as part of a continuous effort to provide accessible healthcare to underserved communities.

The camp was led by a multidisciplinary team of specialist physicians from RK University Ayurved College, including Dr. Ketan Bhimani from the Department of Panchakarma, Dr. Ruksar Piparvadiya from Kayachikitsa, Dr. Sreejith Satheesan from Shalya Tantra, and Dr. Shafna MV from Shalakya Tantra. The experts were supported by a dedicated team of interns from the 2020 batch, with the overall functional workflow managed under the leadership of Sachin Vegada.

During the event, over 75 patients registered and received medical attention for a wide spectrum of health concerns. The clinical team addressed various conditions, ranging from musculoskeletal disorders like osteoarthritis and back pain to dermatological conditions, ENT diseases, eye disorders, and anorectal ailments. Gynaecological consultations were also provided to address general health issues and menstrual irregularities among the local population.

In addition to specialized diagnoses based on Ayurvedic principles, all patients were provided with free Ayurvedic medicines for a duration of seven days. Those requiring more intensive therapies or long-term chronic management were advised to visit the RK University Ayurvedic Hospital in Rajkot for follow-up care and continuity of treatment.

The success of the camp was made possible through the administrative guidance of Director Dr. Manoj Pande and the effective planning of Camp Coordinator Dr. Shreekant Mundada. Further logistical and on-ground support was provided by Nikul Bhai and Jaydip Bhai, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the day’s activities. By providing immediate relief and promoting the benefits of Ayurveda, the camp reinforced the institution’s deep commitment to social responsibility and clinical excellence within the community.
