An educational visit was organized by the Department of Agadtantra and Vidhi Vaidyakam, RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital, to K. D. Parvadiya Hospital, Atkot, on August 30 2025. The primary objective of this visit was to provide students with exposure to real-world clinical settings, specifically focusing on the casualty medical Unit.
During the visit, II year students had the opportunity to observe a variety of emergency cases, including trauma, cardiac arrests, and other acute medical conditions. This firsthand observation was complemented by witnessing the implementation of both advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) techniques by the hospital's medical staff. The students engaged in meaningful interactions with doctors and nurses, gaining valuable insights into clinical decision-making and patient management.
This practical experience significantly enhanced the students' comprehension of emergency medical protocols and procedures. It also served to motivate them to consider further studies and research in the field of emergency medicine, while simultaneously fostering a deeper sense of empathy and compassion for patients. The visit was led by Dr Pankaj Bhange and Dr Shivangi Malaviya under the guidance of our director, Dr. Manoj Pande.
This visit was made possible through the valuable MoU between KDP Hospital and RK UniversityWe extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Navnit Bodar, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of K.D. Parvadiya Hospital, and the entire medical team. Their cooperation, guidance, and expertise were instrumental in making this visit a highly valuable learning experience for the students.
